Welcome to Clasilista.com, a classifieds platform connecting buyers and sellers across Central America, including El Salvador, Belize, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama. By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our platform.

1. Overview of Clasilista.com
Clasilista.com is an online classifieds marketplace that allows users to post, browse, and respond to ads in categories such as “Vehicles,” “Real Estate,” “Jobs,” “Services,” and more. We act solely as a facilitator, providing the platform for users to connect and communicate via the AdForest system. We do not participate in transactions, handle direct payments (except for Bitcoin payments via CoinPayments, subject to their terms), or take responsibility for the quality, condition, or delivery of items or services advertised.

2. User Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use Clasilista.com, or have parental consent if you are a minor under applicable laws in your country (e.g., Belize or El Salvador).
• By using our platform, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into agreements and that your use of the site complies with local laws of your country in Central America.

3. User Accounts

• To post ads or use certain features, you must create an account via the system by providing accurate information (e.g., email, phone number).
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password, and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately via our contact form if you suspect unauthorized use.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, including those engaging in prohibited activities (see Section 5).

4. Posting Ads

• Free Ads: Users can post ads for free in most categories (e.g., “Second-Hand Clothing,” “Mobile Phones”).
• Paid/Featured Ads: Some ads may be featured for a fee (e.g., “Featured Cars”), payable via CoinPayments, including Bitcoin in El Salvador. All payments are non-refundable, as outlined in our Ad Cancellation Policy.
• Ads must comply with our policies, including our banned words list (e.g., no “drugs,” “weapons,” or “escort services”). We reserve the right to remove ads that violate these terms without refund for paid ads.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of your ad content, including descriptions, photos, and pricing. Use colloquial phrases like “used but good” or “no issues” to clarify condition.

5. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:

• Post ads containing prohibited content, as outlined in our banned words list (e.g., illegal items, fraudulent services, or offensive language like “scam” or “hate”).
• Engage in fraudulent behavior, misrepresentation, or scams (e.g., listing items you don’t own).
• Use Clasilista.com for illegal activities under Central American laws (e.g., selling counterfeit goods).
• Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users, including using derogatory language (e.g., “racist” or “homophobic” terms).
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or misuse our platform (e.g., “hacking” or “phishing”).
  Violations may result in ad removal, account suspension, or termination without notice or refund.

6. Transactions and Disputes

• All transactions occur directly between buyers and sellers. Clasilista.com does not get involved in interactions, facilitate payments (except via CoinPayments), or mediate disputes.
• Buyers and sellers are solely responsible for negotiating terms, including pricing, delivery, and any potential refunds. See our Refund and Dispute Policy (link to policy) for more details.
• We recommend meeting in public places (e.g., Mercado Central in San Salvador) to inspect items before completing transactions, and using our “Safety Tips” blog post to avoid scams.

7. Payments

• Payments for featured ads are processed through CoinPayments, including Bitcoin options in El Salvador (0.5% transaction fee applies).
• All payments are final and non-refundable, even if an ad is canceled or removed due to policy violations. See our Ad Cancellation Policy for details.
• Clasilista.com is not responsible for payment disputes between users.

8. Intellectual Property

• All content on Clasilista.com, including our quetzal logo, design, and text, is our property or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without permission.
• By posting ads, you grant Clasilista.com a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display your content (e.g., photos, descriptions) on our platform and in promotional materials (e.g., Facebook/Instagram ads).

9. Limitation of Liability

• Clasilista.com is not liable for any damages, losses, or issues arising from transactions, including but not limited to defective items, non-delivery, or fraudulent behavior.
• We are not responsible for the accuracy of user-generated content, interruptions in service, or third-party actions (e.g., CoinPayments).
• You use Clasilista.com at your own risk, and we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Termination

• We may terminate or suspend your access to Clasilista.com at our discretion, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in prohibited activities.
• You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through the AdForest user dashboard.

11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use of Clasilista.com after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the user’s country of residence in Central America (e.g., Belize or El Salvador). Any disputes arising from these Terms must be resolved in accordance with local laws, though Clasilista.com does not mediate user disputes.
